Sunday's Column - Mono Lake
Sitting along the edge of Mono Lake are some strange shaped obelisks. They're called Tofas and they are the result of the high alkali content of the water. Mono Lake is an odd place; it sits on the edge of Route 395 which is usually full of traffic going up to Reno and beyond.
