Sunday's Column - Moonridge Zoo

This week we visit Big Bear's Moonridge Zoo. 

Debbie Richardson - Curator of the Zoo

"It used to be called an Animal Park," said Debbie Richardson.  "But we have gone back to the title zoo as it's more easily."  The zoo is due to move its premises in about two years.  Originally it was to re-locate across the lake next to the Discovery Center, but now it's new site is just to the north of the nine-hole golf course.  Currently it's to the south of that facility.  There are about 150 different animals at the park.
