One of the things that really annoys me is unpunctuality! Now I was raised to believe it was the height of rudeness to be late for anything. All events, scheduled to begin at a certain time, did just that. There was no padding of an extra ten minutes for latecomers. Similarly if you were due to meet anyone, with no cell phones, you had virtually no way to let them know if you were to be late. I remember one old salesman saying that if a person was not at the address at the appropriate time, then he assumed they were in the hospital. There was simply no excuse. Do parents still teach their children about punctuality? I don't know. But with all the methods of communications available to everyone, we seem to be getting later and later for appointments. I heard a commentator the other day saying that people who turn up for jobs are often late. His number one rule for any applicant is BE ON TIME! In fact he repeated it three time, it's so important. So if you want that job, you know what to do. It's not tough. Come on People!
