Sunday's Column - Ontario
I'm not much of a shopper, but even for me, I've had occasions to visit the largest shopping mall in California. It's the Ontario Mills and it didn't exist 20 years ago when I was first driving along the 10 Freeway. Today, not only does it remain the biggest, but there are a number of satellite stores that have opened up around the actual mall. This Sunday's column is about this huge complex and it shows that even in hard times, there seems an almost primeval desire to shop. I must have missed out on that particular gene. You can read the entire column - if the Sun is on the ball, of course at www.sbsun.com/trevorstravels

Where is the Medieval Times? Looks like there is one in Georgia at a Mills but not Ontario. Also, I think Gameroom video game facility is Gameworks.
ReplyDeleteExactly. There is no Medieval Times at Ontario Mills. Did this guy actually go to the Mall he says he frequents? Or did this info come from the Simon Property representative he interviewed for the article? Regardless, poor research, poor presentation. And.... this article was proofread and published in the newspaper.... unbelievable!
