Yellowstone - Sunday's Column

Geysers erupting in Yellowstone

Sunday's column takes us up to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.  It's quite a place and one where it's best to take a guided tour, which is what we did on our trip.  It's a very big place and the first National Park dedicated to the people of the United States.  Situated as it is on top of a caldera, which is the top of a volcano, you might feel a little insecure.  But it's been 650,000 years since it went off.  Scientists have estimated that eruptions should occur on a regular basis.  The next one forecasted - about now!  You can read the entire piece at http://www.sbsun.com/lifestyle/20130907/heres-one-thing-you-can-depend-on-old-faithful
